Pre-Cana is a one day marriage preparation seminar for the engaged. It is for engaged couples preparing for marriage and couples married civilly for less than one year. The seminar is designed to inform couples of the spiritual and practical aspects of a Catholic marriage The day encourages the couple to concentrate on building a lifelong relationship.

Dates for the Pre-Cana Seminars are listed below. The day begins with check in at 8:45 a.m. followed by the first presentation sharply at 9 a.m. The day concludes at 5 p.m. Dates for 2012: May 5; June 9; Aug. 4; Sept. 8; Oct. 6; Nov. 3; Dec. 8 at Corpus Christi Cathedral St. Joseph’s Hall. REGISTER HERE.

The emphasis of the Pre-Cana Seminar stresses church teachings on the value of human life, the indissolubility of marriage and the theology of the Sacrament of Matrimony. At the Corpus Christi Cathedral’s St. Joseph’s Hall, 505 N. Upper Broadway, Corpus Christi.
