CORPUS CHRISTI – Now in its 29^th  Season, the Cathedral Music Ministry of Corpus Christi Cathedral announces openings for new members in two Cathedral Choirs.  Limited openings will be filled in the following Cathedral Choirs:  Pontifical Chorale (Adult Choir) and the Men’s Chant Choir - The Schola Cantorum.  Those interested should call 888-6520 extension 31, state your name, daytime phone number and choir you wish to join.  The Cathedral Music Ministry staff will contact you for an interview and thescheduling of a FREE Vocal Check-up.  If you have the Time and Talent, and the particular choir has an opening – there will be a space for you in one of the finest Cathedral Music Ministries in the Country!
 
Highlights of the year, in addition to weekly re-choir-ments, will include singing for the Cathedral Concert Series’ production of “A Cathedral Holiday New Years Spectacular!” in December and Festival Concert 2013.  All Cathedral Choirs are under the award winning direction of Lee Gwozdz. Considered one of the top Choir clinicians in the country, Lee has presented workshops, festivals and seminars in over 100 major cities. Assisting Lee is Dr. Guadalupe Rivera, Jr., Director of Choral Activities at Tuloso Midway High School. The Cathedral Choirs’ have numerous CD’s available nationally on Amazon.com and locally at the Cathedral.
